The position requires MBBS with postgraduate qualification and at least 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years as Professor, with strong leadership to coordinate clinical departments and academic collaboration with the Medical College.

About the Role

Prince Medical College & Hospital, Sikar is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Superintendent to lead and oversee the hospitals clinical and operational functions. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic and clinical leadership with sound hospital-administration experience to ensure high standards of patient care, clinical quality, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical and administrative leadership for hospital operations.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clinical departments, nursing, diagnostics, administration and support services.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care, safety and clinical quality.
• Work closely with HODs and senior faculty to ensure effective functioning of clinical departments.
• Oversee hospital protocols, policies, SOPs and clinical governance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NMC, medical, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor hospital performance, patient-care processes and service quality.
• Review clinical incidents, patient grievances and quality-related matters and ensure appropriate corrective action.
• Coordinate with hospital management on strategic planning, operational requirements and institutional development.
• Support effective utilisation of hospital resources, infrastructure and manpower.
• Facilitate coordination between the Medical College and Hospital for academic, clinical and teaching requirements.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality initiatives, audits and accreditation-related activities.
• Promote a culture of professionalism, ethical medical practice, patient-centric care and teamwork.
• Guide and mentor senior medical and administrative teams.
• Monitor emergency services and ensure preparedness for critical situations.
• Review departmental performance and implement measures for continuous improvement.
• Represent the hospital in relevant professional, regulatory and institutional matters, as assigned by management.

Eligibility & Experience

• MBBS with a recognised postgraduate medical qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, including:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Professor.
• Strong experience in managing clinical and hospital operations.
• Experience in a medical college and teaching hospital will be essential.
• Experience in a corporate hospital will be an added advantage.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission / respective State Medical Council.
