Job summary

KEC International is seeking an MEP Site Engineer for the East India region to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works at the project site, ensuring execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, safety and schedule.

The role requires 6–12 years in MEP execution for high-rise buildings, strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems, and familiarity with AutoCAD and project drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 6-12 years of relevant experience in MEP execution for high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, project drawings, and relevant MEP codes/standards.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MEP installation activities at the project site.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and finishing teams to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
• Review and execute MEP drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Monitor installation of HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV, and associated systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Track work progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for inspections and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Verify material requirements and ensure timely availability at site.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities of MEP systems.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, manpower productivity, and cost control measures.
