Job summary

Maxwell Energy System Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer for in-person recruitment on 13th June at our Bangalore office. You will be responsible for hands-on design, development, lab testing, and troubleshooting of electronics circuits and systems in high power Li-Ion battery applications.

You will own end-to-end design of control boards, coordinate with mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams, and ensure robustness against challenging environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of demonstrated successful experience in electrical engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supervision of PCB layout for minimal stray inductance and capacitance, placement strategies for better manufacturability, power/signal plane definition and EMC optimization.
• Experience with Altium Designer for Schematic & PCB layout design.
• Start to finish ownership of control boards and other electronics – from specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing.
• Experience with high current power semiconductor selection (IGBTs, MOSFETs, and Diodes), gate drive and protection circuit design.
• Familiar with schematic capture and power converter circuit simulation tools.
• Experience in selection and use of DSPs, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, board-level power supplies).
• Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Automotive, Industrial & Residential applications.

Responsibilities

As a member of the electronics hardware team as a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for hands-on design and development, architecting, lab testing, and troubleshooting electronics circuits and systems. You will join a team dedicated to raising the standards for advance electronic and contribute to their continuous improvement. You will help build robust electronics impervious to the hostility of various applicative environments.
