Job summary

AMETEK Inc. in Bangalore is seeking a dynamic Senior Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment across engineering and non-engineering roles, partnering with hiring managers to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies.

The role focuses on building robust talent pipelines, creating compelling job descriptions, optimizing the candidate experience, and driving hiring metrics while maintaining accurate records in ATS and HR systems.

Qualifications

• MBA or postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing, preferably with exposure to both technical and non-technical hiring.
• Strong experience using ATS, HR databases, job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and leadership teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions, prioritize effectively, and deliver within defined hiring timelines.
• Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, market mapping, candidate engagement, and talent pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring plans, and role requirements.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering and non-engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer discussions, and closure.
• Create compelling job descriptions and post roles across LinkedIn, job portals, internal platforms, and other relevant channels.
• Source high-quality candidates through databases, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate assessments, and evaluate fit against technical, functional, and cultural requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring teams and ensure timely feedback, follow-ups, and decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future business needs.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data and candidate records in ATS, HR systems, and recruitment trackers.
• Track hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and candidate pipeline status.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication, timely updates, and professional engagement.
• Support employer branding initiatives and contribute ideas to improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes.
