Job summary

Tech First Gulf FZ LLC is seeking a seasoned Rebate Analyst based in India to manage vendor rebate programmes, track claims and margins, and support regional sales with data-driven insights.

You will validate rebates, coordinate with procurement, finance and sales across time zones, and ensure audit-ready documentation while optimizing settlement cycles. Strong Excel/ERP and multi-currency exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce / Finance; CA Inter, CMA or MBA an advantage.
• 7–10 years in IT distribution with at least 3 years handling vendor rebate and incentive programmes.
• Sound business knowledge of distribution: vendor programmes, pricing, margins and incentives.
• Hands-on with multiple OEM partner portals and claim processes.
• Strong Excel; ERP experience (SAP Business One or similar); multi-country and multi-currency exposure.
• Advanced Excel (pivot, lookups, reconciliations); Power BI or similar preferred.
• Understanding of IT distribution margins, multi-currency transactions, VAT/GST and rebate accounting.
• Confident communicator and negotiator with vendors, sales and senior management across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Understand each vendor programme: volume/growth rebates, tiered targets, back-end margins, pricing, discounts.
• Validate every rebate and track what is due.
• Maintain group rebate tracker by vendor, country and period.
• Track purchases and sell-through against tier thresholds; alert teams near higher payouts.
• Prepare and submit claims on vendor portals; follow up credits.
• Manage partner rebate schemes: calculation, approval and payout.
• Hand approved rebate workstreams to Accounts for booking and accruals.
• Report monthly on rebates, claims ageing, leakage and margin impact by vendor.
• Compile claims with sell-out reports, invoices and serial numbers.
• Monitor ageing of open claims and credit notes; flag write-offs to Finance.
• Consolidate rebate tracking by vendor across countries for regional targets.
• Support vendor reviews and negotiations with data on volumes and margins.
• Coordinate with Order Management for correct period-end cut-off.

Job description

• Understand each vendorprogramme: volume and growth rebates, tiered targets, back-end margins, specialbid and deal registration pricing, price protection, stock rotation, MDF andearly-payment discounts
• Validate every rebate – whetherit is correct, what is due and what needs to be done to earn or recover it
• Maintain the group rebatetracker by vendor, country and period: earned vs. claimed vs. received
• Track purchases andsell-through against tier thresholds; give early warning to Purchase and Saleswhen TFG is close to a higher payout
• Prepare and submit claims onvendor portals within claim windows; follow up credit notes until received
• Manage partner (customer)rebate schemes: calculation, approval and payout
• Hand approved rebate workingsto Accounts & Finance for booking; support month-end rebate accruals andreconciliations
• Report monthly on rebateearnings, open claims, ageing, leakage from missed or rejected claims, andmargin impact by vendor
• Compile claims with therequired sell-out reports, invoices and serial numbers
• Track ageing of open claims andcredit notes; escalati items nearing expiry and flag write-off risk to Finance
• Consolidate rebate tracking byvendor across countries, so regional and global programme targets are trackedas a whole and each country gets its share
• Support vendor business reviewsand negotiations with data on volumes, claim recovery and margin impact
• Work with Order Management oncorrect period-end cut-off so purchases and sales count toward vendor targets
• Keep rebate documentationaudit-ready and drive automation of tracking, claims and reporting
• Single point of contact for allrebate queries across the group

Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce / Finance;CA Inter, CMA or MBA an advantage
