KPIT is seeking a Real Time Software Architect in Bengaluru to lead embedded software architecture across SOC/MCU platforms. You will work on OS integration, BSP level CPU interactions, and power management strategies for complex automotive systems.

The role requires hands-on modeling (SYSML/UML) and requirements management with DOORS NG, along with collaboration with stakeholders to ensure clear, shared understanding of technical goals.

Formación

• Must have real time software architecture experience in embedded systems.
• Strong SOC/MCU and processor understanding for C and assembly.
• Knowledge of QNX, Linux or POSIX OS architectures and interfaces.
• Experience with BSP level Linux core interactions with CPU.
• Proficiency in OS task scheduling and interrupt handling.
• Experience in processor power management and startup/shutdown sequences.
• Experience with peripheral management (USB, CAN, Ethernet, Display, I2C, etc).
• Hands on SYSML and UML modeling using IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw.
• Experience in requirements management with IBM DOORS NG.
• Excellent communication to align with stakeholders.

Mandatory to have :

• 1. Real Time SW Architect
• 2. System On Chip (SOC) technical skills for both microcontroller ( C) and Processor ( P, CPU)
• 3. QNX or LINUX or POSIX OS Knowledge
• 4. Knowledge on how Linux core interacts with CPU architecture (BSP level)
• 5. OS Task Scheduling and interrupt management
• 6. Processor Power Management and Startup & Shutdown sequence
• 7. Peripheral management (e.g. USB, CAN, ETH, Display, I2C, etc)
• 8. Experience in Software Development activities
• 9. Hands on experience in SYSML and UML Modeling using tools such as IBM Rhapsody/MagicDraw
• 10. Hands on experience in Requirements Management and its Allocation in IBM DOORS NG
• 11. Good communication skills to connect with stakeholders and facilitate reaching a common understanding

Good to have :

• 1. Understanding on Vehicle EE Functional Architecture
• 2. Understanding on Vehicle Communication Bus and Topology (CAN, ETH, LIN)
• 3. HPC and legacy ECU understanding along with vehicle features
• 4. Hands on GIT / Gitlab / Github version management, and JIRA
• 5. Knowledge on Classic AUTOSAR Architecture
• 6. Knowledge on Adaptive AUTOSAR and Service Oriented Architecture Interface
