Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a System Architect for the Cockpit Domain Controller. Define and drive end-to-end architecture for automotive embedded systems, lead architecture reviews, and guide cross-functional teams across hardware and software domains.

The role requires deep expertise in automotive protocols, safety standards, and SDV platforms. Collaborative responsibilities include stakeholder coordination and ensuring OEM process compliance.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in automotive embedded systems and architecture.
• Experience with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, AIS189/AIS190, UNR155, ISO/SAE 21434.
• Proficient in CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP.
• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive and QNX/Linux/Android Automotive.
• Strong requirements and configuration management skills.
• Experience in Infotainment/SDV programs.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end system architecture for automotive embedded systems.
• Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and derive complete system architecture and design; develop functional, logical, physical, and software-hardware partitioning architectures.
• Create and maintain system architecture models, interface specifications, and design documentation.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from customer requirements through design, implementation, and validation.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to system, software, and hardware teams.
• Define communication and integration architecture using CAN, Ethernet, LIN, SOME/IP, and DoIP.
• Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, AIS189/AIS190, UNR155, ISO/SAE 21434, and OEM processes.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership; support customer discussions, audits, and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

Define end-to-end system architecture for automotive embedded systems and Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms.

Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and derive complete system architecture and design.Develop functional, logical, physical, and software-hardware partitioning architectures.

Create and maintain system architecture models, interface specifications, and design documentation.

Ensure end-to-end traceability from customer requirements through system design, implementation, and validation.Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to system, software, and hardware engineering teams.Define communication and integration architecture using automotive protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, LIN, SOME/IP, and DoIP.

Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, AIS189 & AIS190, UNR155, ISO/SAE 21434, and OEM-specific development processes.

Perform technical feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and risk assessments for new features and technologies.Support system integration, issue analysis, root cause investigation, and technical problem resolution.

Drive architecture governance by establishing design standards, best practices, and reusable architecture frameworks.

Manage architectural changes, impact analysis, and configuration control across product releases.

Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in system engineering and architecture activities.Support customer technical discussions, audits, design reviews, and project milestones to ensure successful product delivery.Able to work with Hardware, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams, and give directions.

Required Skills

Strong experience in automotive embedded systems architecture and system engineering.

Expertise in requirements engineering, system decomposition, interface definition, and architecture modeling.

Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, AIS189 & AIS190, UNR155,ISO/SAE 21434, and systems engineering processes.Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, and DoIP.

Experience with embedded platforms such as QNX, Linux, Android Automotive, AUTOSAR Classic or AUTOSAR Adaptive.

Proficiency with requirements and configuration management tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and system-level design skills with the ability to perform technical trade-off analysis.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills in global development environments.

Experience in automotive domains such as Infotainment, Digital Cockpit, Connectivity and ADAS is highly desirable.
