Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking an experienced AUTOSAR Architect to lead system-level architectural decisions for embedded software in a demanding automotive environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide development from concept to design, and work with customers on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of AUTOSAR Basic Software and embedded systems experience.
• Strong understanding of Infineon MCUs, CAN/LIN, UDS/DCM/DEM, NvM/Flash
• OS scheduling (OSEK/AUTOSAR OS) and bootloader concepts
• Experience with ISO 26262 safety and cybersecurity concepts
• AUTOSAR configuration tools: Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos
• Debugging tools: WinIdea, CANoe, CANalyzer
• Desirable: Battery Management System exposure

• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and guiding development team from concept to design to implementation.
• Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
• Driving and troubleshooting the OEM issues

• Understanding of HW Schematics and Board Layout, IO Pin Configuration
• Expertise in deriving software requirements and Software Architecture from System requirements
• Good understanding of Functional Safety Concepts, Safety Goals, Safety Paths, FTTI (ISO 26262
• Analysing and fulfilling Resource consumption objectives
• Technical lead for the developers and integrators
• Mentor and guide team on AUTOSAR best practices, design decisions, and architecture .

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of: Microcontrollers (Infineon) Communication protocols (CAN, LIN) Diagnostics (UDS, DCM, DEM) Memory systems (NvM, Flash drivers) OS and scheduling (OSEK/AUTOSAR OS)
• Good knowhow of bootloader concepts, memory layout, OS performance optimizations
• Experience with safety-critical systems (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity concepts.
• AUTOSAR configuration tools: Vector DaVinci, EB Tresos
• Debugging tools: WinIdea, CANoe, CANalyzer, logic analyzers
• Good to Have: Experience of working on Battery Management System
