Job summary

KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a System and Safety Engineering & Real Time Software Architect with SYSML/UML expertise to drive embedded software architecture for automotive systems.

You will work on real time OS, SOC processors, BSP-level interactions, and model-based design using IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw, with strong stakeholder communication and software development experience.

Qualifications

• Real Time SW Architect with SOC exposure.
• SOC tech skills for µC and µP/CPU.
• QNX or LINUX or POSIX OS knowledge.

Job/Position Summary

Mandatory to have :

• 1. Real Time SW Architect
• 2. System On Chip (SOC) technical skills for both microcontroller (µC) and Processor (µP, CPU)
• 3. QNX or LINUX or POSIX OS Knowledge
• 4. Knowledge on how Linux core interacts with CPU architecture (BSP level)
• 5. OS Task Scheduling and interrupt management
• 6. Processor Power Management and Startup & Shutdown sequence
• 8. Experience in Software Development activities
• 9. Hands on experience in SYSML and UML Modeling using tools such as IBM Rhapsody/MagicDraw
• 10. Hands on experience in Requirements Management and its Allocation in IBM DOORS NG
• 11. Good communication skills to connect with stakeholders and facilitate reaching a common understanding

Good to have :

• 1. Understanding on Vehicle EE Functional Architecture
• 2. Understanding on Vehicle Communication Bus and Topology (CAN, ETH, LIN)
• 3. HPC and legacy ECU understanding along with vehicle features
• 4. Hands on GIT / Gitlab / Github version management, and JIRA
