Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced software engineer with 14+ years to contribute to BSP and driver development on RTOS and AUTOSAR architectures. The role requires deep SoC hardware knowledge and experience with security and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and Python, plus exposure to ISO26262 and functional safety. This position is based in Bengaluru within the Engineering Group, Software Engineering division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Experience in safety architecture, device drivers and memory management.
• Experience in ISO26262/functional safety.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on BSP and driver development on RTOS.
• Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR software architecture and development.
• Detailed understanding of SoC hardware blocks—Clocks, Controllers, DCC, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), Peripherals (SPI/I2C/PCIE/CAN/Ethernet/USB/UFS), power management.
• Exposure to multiprocessor architecture, ARM processors, caching, interrupts; virtualization across CPU and hardware accelerators.
