Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer – P&M – Site to manage all plant and machinery deployed at a construction site. You will plan, operate, and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure high equipment availability and cost efficiency for smooth project execution.

Lead the P&M function on site, overseeing equipment deployment, operations, and maintenance in alignment with project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-10 years of site maintenance and P&M experience.
• Experience managing plant and machinery on construction sites.
• Knowledge of safety compliance and SOPs on site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement site-specific preventive maintenance schedules for all critical and support equipment.
• Supervise breakdown response, root cause analysis, and timely repairs with technicians and vendors.
• Monitor equipment utilization, fuel consumption, idle time, and operating costs to improve efficiency.
• Ensure all equipment and operators comply with safety protocols, statutory requirements, and internal SOPs.

Job Description

Engineer – P&M – Site is responsible for end-to-end management of all plant and machinery deployed at a construction site. This includes planning, operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, safety compliance, operator supervision, and coordination with execution teams to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and cost efficiency to support smooth project execution.

Lead the P&M function at the site by overseeing equipment deployment, operations, and maintenance in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
