Regal Kitchen Foods in Solan, Himachal Pradesh is seeking a senior operations professional to oversee rice and grain processing, including variety identification, quality control, receiving, processing, packing, and inventory management. You will lead operators, coordinate maintenance, and ensure GMP compliance.

Experience in Basmati/Non-Basmati rice, yield recovery, batch traceability, and packing accuracy is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and differentiate Basmati and Non-Basmati varieties; understand grain characteristics, moisture, broken %, colour and aroma.
• Manage lot-wise receiving, sampling, inspection, acceptance/hold/rejection and traceability with Quality.
• Control cleaning, de-stoning, grading, sorting, metal detection and final inspection.
• Track input vs finished rice, recovery, and process loss; investigate deviations.
• Ensure correct product, variety, grade, pack size, labeling and weight during packing.
• Maintain variety-wise and lot-wise stock accuracy and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Prepare daily/weekly processing plans based on orders and machine capacity.
• Maintain GMP, hygiene, traceability and audit readiness.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Rice & Grain Expertise

Identify and differentiate Basmati and Non-Basmati varieties; understand grain characteristics,

moisture, broken %, admixture, colour, aroma, infestation and other quality parameters.

Receiving & Quality Control

Manage lot-wise receiving, sampling, inspection, acceptance/hold/rejection and supplier/lot traceability in coordination with Quality.

Processing Operations

Control cleaning, de-stoning, magnetic separation, grading, length/thickness grading, Sortex/colour sorting, metal detection and final inspection.

Yield & Recovery

Track input vs finished rice, broken rice, Sortex reject, foreign matter and process loss; investigate deviations and improve recovery.

Packing

Ensure correct product, variety, grade, pack size, packaging material, label, batch coding, weight, sealing/stitching and secondary packing.

Inventory & Warehouse

Maintain variety-wise and lot-wise stock accuracy, segregation, FIFO/FEFO, pest/moisture protection and periodic physical reconciliation.

Production Planning

Prepare daily/weekly processing plans based on order priority, inventory, customer specifications and machine capacity.

Food Safety & Audit Readiness

Maintain GMP, hygiene, foreign-material controls, traceability, segregation and documentation for internal/customer/export audits.

Team & Equipment

Lead operators and packing/warehouse manpower; coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize machine uptime.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-13 years of experience in manufacturing or related field (preferably in food processing).
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Food Technology or relevant discipline.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, production management, and quality control principles.
• Proven track record of improving process efficiency through innovative solutions.
