Responsibilities

• Production Optimization: Plan, supervise, and optimize mill operations to achieve targets for production volume, product yield, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Process Control & Quality: Monitor and control critical operating parameters, including rolling temperatures, section profiles, rolling speeds, reduction schedules, and final finished product dimensions.
• Mill Execution: Ensure precise stand assembly, optimal mill setup/settings, and trouble-free operation across the entire mill area.
• Roll Shop Oversight: Supervise and direct roll turning, roll grinding, pass checking, and the timely assembly and preparation of rolling stands.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with upstream and downstream functions, including reheating furnaces, roll shop, mechanical and electrical maintenance, quality assurance, and finishing teams.
• Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain critical operational spares and ensure preventive care for rolls, chocks, bearings, and other equipment to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all site safety procedures, standard operating practices, and statutory regulatory requirements.

Role : We are seeking a highly experienced professional with profound expertise in rail and structural rolling mill operations to lead and drive world-class manufacturing standards. The incumbent will take end-to-end charge of mill performance, driving operational excellence, throughput, and strict process compliance.
