Job summary

Captain Steel India Limited in West Bengal seeks an experienced Production Leader for the Structure Rolling Mill to oversee daily operations, align with production plans, and drive smooth mill performance. The role requires hands-on experience in hot rolling mills, strong teamwork and communication skills, and willingness to work at the Asansol site to achieve targets with minimal downtime.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Quality and Dispatch teams to ensure safety, SOP

Qualifications

• Experience in Hot Rolling Mill mandatory.
• Relevant experience in the respective role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at Asansol location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall production operations of the Structure Rolling Mill as per plan.
• Monitor rolling processes, mill parameters, product quality, yield and consumption.
• Lead shift teams and coordinate with maintenance, quality and dispatch for continuity.
• Ensure safety, SOP adherence and targets with minimal downtime and waste.

• Responsible for overall production operations of the Structure Rolling Mill, ensuring smooth and efficient mill operations as per production plans.
• Monitor rolling processes, mill parameters, product quality, yield, productivity, and material consumption.
• Lead shift teams and coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Quality, and Dispatch departments for uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, quality requirements, and achieve production targets with minimum downtime and wastage.
