The candidate will interact with end users, participate in DR planning, and provide monthly on-call support, ensuring tight deadlines and reliable billing cycles. Strong JCL/COBOL/TSO skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Experience with mainframe environments and daily/monthly job remediation and monitoring.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with end users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for mainframe billing applications.
• Remediate, restore, monitor, and improve critical billing processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Interact with End Users to address issues promptly.
• Participate in project teams for knowledge transfer and deployment risk reduction.
• Contribute to annual DR planning and monthly on-call activities.

What you’ll own

• Production Support Engineer - Role uses his/her specialized knowledge to support mainframe applications which are key to the daily/monthly billing process.
• Remediation, Restoration, Monitoring, Improvement and Compliance Monitoring and managing daily/monthly jobs which are critical to the billing cycles.
• Collaborate with other internal teams (Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Development) to distill business requirements into technical solutions.
• Direct interaction with End Users to address issues in a timely manner.
• Project team involvement to ensure knowledge transfer and reduced deployment risk to Production.
• Annual DR planning and exercise involvement.
• Monthly On-Call support
