Job summary

Global Payments Inc. in Indore, India, is seeking a Service Delivery Manager - P3 to lead the Mainframe Billing Team and ensure smooth production support for critical billing cycles.

You will coordinate with Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Development teams, own incident remediation, monitoring and on-call rotations, and drive improvements while maintaining stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 yrs in a technical support role with mainframe exposure.
• Experience supporting multiple environments and production systems.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Own

• Production Support Engineer - Role uses his/her specialized knowledge to support mainframe applications which are key to the daily/monthly billing process.
• Remediation, Restoration, Monitoring, Improvement and Compliance Monitoring and managing daily/monthly jobs which are critical to the billing cycles.
• Collaborate with other internal teams (Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Development) to distill business requirements into technical solutions.
• Direct interaction with End Users to address issues in a timely manner.
• Project team involvement to ensure knowledge transfer and reduced deployment risk to Production.
• Annual DR planning and exercise involvement.
• Weekly On-Call support

What You Bring

Essentials

• 2-5yrs of Experience in a technical support role
• Demonstrable track record of supporting multiple technological environments
• 3yrs of Experience with administration and operations of production systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• 3yrs of JCL and IBM utilities experience
• 3yrs of IBM TSO experience
• 3yrs of supporting a COBOL based application
• 2yrs of SAS experience
• 2yrs of DB2 experience
• 2yrs of supporting Dialogue (document creation application)
• Ability to maintain internal stakeholder relationships
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to understand business events and anticipate IT need
