AVEVA in Hyderabad/Bangalore is seeking a R&D Senior Development Engineer to translate software requirements into scalable web and cloud applications. You will design, develop, and maintain complex systems, contribute to architecture, and work with distributed teams across regions.

Requirements include object‑oriented design, C#, .NET 8/10, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and Agile experience. Familiarity with Angular is a plus.

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore | Employment Type: Full-time.

Job Overview
The R&D Senior Development Engineer translates software requirements into working programming solutions, building scalable web and cloud applications with strong domain expertise. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems or subsystems, from concept and detailed design to production release. It also requires contributing to architectural decisions and applying technical expertise to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Use multiple programming languages and development tools to design, build, test, implement, and support web and cloud software applications.
• Perform software architecture and design activities as required.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders to define and evolve the technology framework.
• Contribute to defining delivery timelines during release planning and guide junior team members in effort estimation.
• Execute complex development tasks including secure coding (aligned with cybersecurity standards), code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members and peers.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to apply and communicate object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and design principles.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET8 or 10, REST APIs, and database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Experience developing web applications using Angular (good to have).
• Understanding of serverless and microservices architectures.
• Working knowledge of cross-cutting concerns in software architecture (e.g., security, logging, performance).
• Proven ability to build high‑performance and scalable applications or modules.
• Experience designing frameworks with built‑in security considerations.
• Ability to develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Knowledge of software configuration, build, deployment, release management, infrastructure, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills using logical reasoning and pattern recognition.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts.
• Experience working in Agile (iterative development) or Scrum (Agile framework) environments.
• Experience working in global or distributed teams.
