Job summary

In your area, you will be responsible for functionality, performance, cost and quality of the deliveries.Collaborating actively with technical experts from other areas and across functions to hand over developed technologies in accordance with the quality requirements. You will also follow quality improvement actions in the organization and support customer case resolutions.Documenting your work results, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in applying it, to ensure timely and high-quality results, as well as proposing and implementing actions to solve quality problems in R&D projects.Understanding and implementing the product quality and functional requirements and early applying the necessary assurance practices in the design process.Leveraging in-depth knowledge in own technical areas, to ensure that technology results are properly safeguarded through effective IP management.Qualifications for the role:Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from a reputed University.8 to 12 years of relevant R&D work experience in the areas of mechanical design, materials selection and design for manufacturability, with focus on industrial measurement applications for process automation.Overall understanding of Industrial product development processes and product lifecycle within a stage gate process for product development, specifically experienced in highly regulated industries such as safety critical industrial applications, hazardous areas etc.Experience in mechanical design for industrial applications.
