Job summary

N Human Resources & Management Systems invites applications for the R&D Head - Electrical (Lighting & Luminaire Design) role in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The incumbent leads the electrical and luminaire engineering division at a manufacturing facility, owning end-to-end development from concept to production.

The position requires 5+ years in LED lighting and luminaire design, strong DIALux proficiency, PCB and thermal management skills, and leadership of an R&D team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of LED lighting design and luminaire engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in DIALux and photometric simulation tools.
• Hands-on PCB design, thermal calculations, and LED fixture engineering.
• Deep understanding of heat sink design and thermal management principles.
• Knowledge of optics, beam angles, and LED lens technologies.
• Experience with LED driver selection and electrical safety compliance.
• Strong understanding of outdoor lighting ecosystem and street lighting applications.
• Proven leadership experience in building and managing R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop outdoor LED luminaires, particularly street lighting systems.
• Perform photometric calculations using DIALux and other lighting simulation tools.
• Design PCB layouts with focus on thermal management and thickness optimization.
• Engineer effective heat sink sizing and thermal dissipation strategies.
• Optimize wattage-to-performance ratios and ensure high efficacy outputs.
• Design and optimize optics and beam angle configurations.
• Select and integrate appropriate LED drivers and power supply systems.
• Ensure compliance with lux level standards and outdoor lighting norms.
• Develop cost-engineered solutions without compromising performance.
• Establish testing protocols for lumen output, IP rating, thermal performance, and longevity.
• Build and lead an indigenous R&D team with strong technical discipline and efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for production feasibility and scalability.
• Drive innovation in smart lighting, efficiency, and outdoor durability.

Role Overview

The R&D; Head - Electrical will lead the electrical and luminaire engineering division at Dinamoo's

manufacturing facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This role involves end-to-end ownership of outdoor
