Job summary

ABB Nashik is seeking an R&D Engineer to join its newly established Competence Center. The role contributes to the development of innovative low voltage switchgear products and technologies, from concept to implementation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in R&D or product development, solid knowledge of IEC 61439-2, and proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Switchgear systems and IEC 61439-2.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and product development processes.
• Experience preparing engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
