Job summary

Ss Ventures in Mohali is seeking an R&D Engineer (Electronics) with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.

You will assist in design, development and modification of drivers, SMPS, and electronic circuits, and you will work with PCB assembly, testing, and documentation to ensure product quality.

The role requires a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electronics or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with higher qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in design, development and testing of electronic circuits.
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, components, schematics and BOM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and modification of Drivers, SMPS and electronic circuits.
• Develop and modify electronic circuits according to product requirements and specifications.
• Select and evaluate electronic components such as MOSFETs, diodes, ICs, capacitors, resistors, transformers and inductors.
• Perform circuit testing, debugging and troubleshooting of electronic products.
• Review and prepare schematics, BOM, component specifications and technical documents.
• Conduct sample evaluation and validation testing of new components and products.
• Support prototype development and prepare testing/evaluation reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of design changes, test results and product development activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and modification of Drivers, SMPS and electronic circuits.
• Develop and modify electronic circuits according to product requirements and specifications.
• Select and evaluate electronic components such as MOSFETs, diodes, ICs, capacitors, resistors, transformers and inductors.
• Perform circuit testing, debugging and troubleshooting of electronic products.
• Review and prepare schematics, BOM, component specifications and technical documents.

Required Technical Skills

• Good understanding of basic electronics and circuit design.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power supplies, Drivers and SMPS will be preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, soldering and rework.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and datasheets.
• Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, electronic load and LCR meter.
• Basic knowledge of PCB design software such as Or CAD/Altium will be an added advantage.
