Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India is seeking a QuickBooks / ERP Implementation professional with a strong US Accounting background. You will configure QuickBooks, implement ERP systems, and set up accounting processes, while communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

You will manage end-to-end implementation, translate client requirements into system configurations, perform testing and data migration, and create documentation and training materials to ensure a smooth go-live.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in QuickBooks configuration, implementation and accounting setup.
• Strong US accounting background and US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end QuickBooks / ERP implementation activities.
• Understand client accounting requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Perform hands-on QuickBooks configuration and setup, including chart of accounts, accounting workflows, financial settings, user access and related configurations.
• Support ERP/QuickBooks implementation, testing, data validation and go-live activities.
• Configure accounting processes based on US GAAP and US accounting practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
• Conduct UAT, troubleshooting and issue resolution during implementation.
• Support migration of accounting data and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides and implementation-related documentation.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of implementation projects.
• Act as a subject matter expert for accounting processes and QuickBooks/ERP functionality.

We are looking for a QuickBooks / ERP Implementation professional with a strong US Accounting background. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in QuickBooks configuration, implementation, and accounting process setup, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The candidate should be able to understand business/accounting requirements, configure QuickBooks/ERP systems accordingly, and support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

• strong accounting background, preferably with experience in US Accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks configuration and implementation is mandatory.
• Experience in ERP implementation / accounting system implementation.
• Good understanding of US Accounting, US GAAP and financial processes.
• Experience in configuring accounting workflows and translating business requirements into system solutions.
• Experience with testing, UAT, data migration and go‑live support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
