A reputable accounting firm in Ahmedabad is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 US Accountant to manage accounting operations for US-based clients. The role requires expertise in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of US GAAP. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in US Accounting and be ready to lead complex processes across various portfolios. Formación

• 5+ years of experience in US Accounting, specifically on QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of month-end/year-end close processes.
• Experience in a BPO/KPO or with US CPA firms is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Handle full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks.
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities and reconciliations.
• Generate and analyze financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Lead process improvement and automation efforts using NetSuite capabilities.

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 US Accountant with proven expertise in QuickBooks to manage accounting operations for US-based clients.
• This senior-level role requires advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, a strong understanding of US GAAP, and the ability to lead complex accounting processes across multiple portfolios.
• The ideal candidate will work directly with clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities, reconciliations, and financial consolidations.
• Generate and analyze financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to support audit readiness and tax compliance.
• Lead process improvement and automation efforts using NetSuite capabilities.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members on NetSuite processes.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with US GAAP and client-specific policies.
• Regularly collaborate with external CPA firms and US-based finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum years of experience in US Accounting, with at least 5 years on QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting.
• Expertise in NetSuite modules such as Financials, Fixed Assets, Revenue Management, and Multicurrency.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset.
• Experience working in a BPO/KPO or with US CPA firms is highly desirable.
