Job summary

Neilsoft in Pune is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 2-6 years of experience to review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements while collaborating with BIM 5D and 4D tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit, and will travel to site as needed to support quantity extraction and cost control.

The role requires strong liaison with site teams, clients, contractors, and subcontractors, plus preparation of reports, budgets, and risk assessments

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer with experience in Quantity Survey.
• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Experience with BIM 5D, BIM 4D tools and quantity extraction.
• Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD for quantity extraction.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Working with software teams on automatic QS tools (BIM 5D).
• Formulating quantities of items not modeled in Revit or Civil 3D.
• Coordinating with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Position : Quantity Surveyor

Qualification : B.Arch/M.Arch / BE Civil

Required Skills & Experience :

• Professional Engineer with experience in Quantity Survey.
• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Working closely with software development team working on automatic QS tool (BIM 5D).
• Helping software development team in formulating quantities of items not physically modelled in Revit or Civil 3D.
• Working closely with software development team working on construction sequencing tool ( BIM 4D) & monitoring cost to completion.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals. Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents. Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
• Work with contractors at site and participate in design drawing Quantity Extraction projects.
• It is mandatory that the candidate is well versed with tools like AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D & Revit.
