Job summary

Sowparnika in Panvel/Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance on residential construction projects. You will apply hands-on expertise in Mivan and conventional construction methods to ensure workmanship meets approved drawings, specifications, and standards across all stages of construction.

The role requires 6–13 years in QA/QC within real estate, strong knowledge of concrete technology, formwork, waterproofing, and finishing works, and excellent site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 6–13 years of relevant QA/QC experience in real estate or construction.
• Hands-on experience in Mivan and conventional construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures at residential sites.
• Conduct inspections for Mivan formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, standards, and quality requirements.
• Inspect materials and coordinate material testing per project specs.
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, checklists, reports, and quality docs.
• Coordinate with PMs, site engineers, contractors and consultants to resolve issues.
• Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor workmanship and adherence to approved methods.
• Maintain site inspection records and test results.
• Conduct regular site quality audits and close observations on time.
• Ensure quality at all stages from structural work to finishing.
• Support continuous improvement to minimize defects.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in both Mivan and conventional construction methods, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures at residential construction sites.


• Conduct inspections for Mivan formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing activities.


• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, project standards, and quality requirements.


• Inspect incoming construction materials and coordinate material testing as per project specifications.


• Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation.


• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality‑related issues.


• Identify non‑conformities and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.


• Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to approved construction methods and quality standards.


• Maintain records of site inspections, concrete test results, material test reports, and other quality documents.


• Conduct regular site quality audits and ensure closure of observations within stipulated timelines.


• Ensure quality compliance at every stage of residential construction, from structural work to final finishing.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and maintain high construction quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.


• 6–13 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the real estate or construction industry.


• Mandatory hands‑on experience in Mivan and conventional construction methods.


• Strong experience in residential construction projects, preferably high‑rise residential developments.


• Good knowledge of concrete technology, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing, and finishing works.


• Familiarity with quality documentation, inspection procedures, material testing, and construction standards.


• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.


• Strong site coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Candidates: Professionals with experience in high‑rise residential projects in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, or Mumbai will be preferred.
