Job summary

Parker in Navi Mumbai seeks a Metrology Engineer to oversee in-depth knowledge of metrology equipment such as CMM, contour machines, and surface gauges. You will handle basic instruments, read drawings with GD&T, calibrate instruments, and plan gauges for new product developments.

The role requires hands-on experience with vernier, micrometer, bore gauges and ISIR of components, with timely feedback to suppliers. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of metrology equipment like CMM, Contour machine, surface roughness, roundness machine, Trimos, Millipore equipment.
• Handson on basic instruments like vernier, micrometer, bore gauges.
• Gauge planning of NPDs and gauge procurement from mfg. supplier.
• Drawing reading and knowledge of GD&T.
• Calibration activity of all instruments, gauges.
• ISIR of inhouse machined components, supplier parts and provide timely feedback.
