Job summary

Adecco India in Haridwar is seeking a Quality Technician to perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on spark plugs, sort, pack, and verify quality according to customer requirements. You will ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of inspection results.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of quality inspection experience, with freshers ineligible. Diploma/ITI in mechanical or quality fields is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Quality Inspection, PDI, Sorting, or Automotive Components.
• Freshers are not eligible for this position.
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Production or Quality fields adds advantage.

Responsibilities

• Unpack bins and prepare materials for inspection.
• Perform complete Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of spark plugs.
• Identify, segregate, and report defective products.
• Repack inspected materials according to packing standards.
• Record inspection findings and maintain documentation.
• Prepare and share daily PDI and inspection reports.
• Provide sorting and containment support at customer locations when required.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper handling of materials.
• Support additional quality and operational tasks as directed by supervisor.

Role Purpose

The Quality Technician is responsible for carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), sorting, packing, and quality verification activities for spark plugs as per customer requirements while ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpack bins containing received spark plugs and prepare materials for inspection.
• Perform complete Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of spark plugs as per customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Identify, segregate, and report defective or non-conforming products.
• Repack inspected materials into bins as per defined packing standards.
• Record inspection findings accurately and maintain quality-related documentation.
• Prepare and share daily PDI and inspection reports with stakeholders.
• Provide sorting and containment support at customer locations whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper handling of materials within the work area.
• Support additional quality and operational activities assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) is mandatory. Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Production, or Quality-related fields will be an added advantage.

Experience

1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Inspection, PDI, Sorting, Manufacturing Quality, or Automotive Components. Freshers are not eligible for this position.
