Job summary

Haritash Mobility Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled PDI Technician to perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles, ensuring OEM standards, safety, and quality before delivery. The role requires 4–5 years of relevant experience and strong vehicle knowledge.

You'll work closely with Sales, Workshop and Stockyard teams to verify VIN/chassis details, assemble and verify accessories, run diagnostics, and record findings. Freshers with ITI/Diploma may also be considered for the position.

Qualifications

  • ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in automobile PDI, workshop or dealership operations preferred.
  • Freshers with ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical may also be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicle exterior, interior, electrical, mechanical and safety systems.
  • Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery, tyre pressure and other essential parameters.
  • Verify vehicle accessories, tools, spare wheel, documents and standard equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic scans and identify technical/electrical issues where applicable.
  • Identify manufacturing, transportation or storage-related defects.
  • Rectify minor defects and coordinate with the workshop for major repairs.
  • Ensure all PDI activities are completed as per OEM checklist and SOP.
  • Record inspection findings accurately in the PDI checklist/DMS.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Stockyard, Accessories and Workshop teams for vehicle readiness.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly cleaned and technically ready before delivery.
  • Conduct final quality checks before releasing the vehicle for delivery.
  • Ensure vehicle specifications, VIN/chassis details and documentation are properly verified.
  • Report unresolved defects or quality concerns to the PDI In-Charge / Workshop Manager.
  • Maintain proper PDI records and ensure timely closure of identified issues.
  • Follow workshop safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
  • Support the team in achieving zero-defect vehicle delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Purpose

To conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of new vehicles as per OEM standards, identify and rectify defects, ensure vehicle readiness, and deliver vehicles to customers in excellent condition.
