FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Quality Specialist to drive FMEA-based risk analysis, control plans, and PPAP/APQP activities in a manufacturing environment. You will perform in-process inspections, support GD&T and DPQ checks, and ensure compliance with IATF16949 and ISO26262 standards.

Strong auditing skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. Role requires 5+ years in quality, with expertise in QC tools, DOE, SPC, and quality management software.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a Quality Specialist role in manufacturing or pharma.
• Good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, GMP standards.
• Familiarity with SPC, DOE, Pareto, and other QC tools.
• Experience with audits, root-cause analysis, and CAPA/PPAP documentation.
• Strong data interpretation and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CQE/CQA or CMQ/OE are a plus.

YOUR TASKS

• Carry out the FMEA based risk analysis and ensure the release of FMEA by closing all the risk points.
• Preparing and Monitoring of Control Plan Prototype, pre-launch and production
• Hand on experience with Measuring instruments, CMM, VMM, rapid I, Vernier caliper etc.
• Child part Inspection and ISIR release for new development projects.
• Inprocess inspection, setup verification and support for process maturity during development.
• Attend the molding trial in-house and at supplier end to ensure the required improvements.
• Support for review of drawings for specifications & special characteristics
• Preparation of PPAP documents and customer approval.
• In house process Audits to make sure, defined spec. has been followed during assy.
• Must have hands on Experience on Problem Solving Technique – G8D, CAPA & QC Tools
• Must have experience of PPAP and APQP Documentation.
• Conducts SPC and MSA study
• Hands-on experience with Gauges concept review and finalization as per customer requirements.
• Verification of assy. fixtures, receiving gauges & final assy. gauges.
• Monitor the quality objectives achievement through a risk assessment follow up based on FMEA, key characteristics, capabilities, tolerance stack up, PPM etc.
• Attend project review meetings internal and along with customer.
• Handling customer PPAP, internal and compliance audits.
• Must have the Knowledge of IATF and Auditing Skill
• Experience in handling the Quality work products in line to IATF16949 and ISO26262 requirements.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or Science, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Specialist role within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Superior working knowledge of relevant domestic and international Quality Standards (like ISO9001, ISO13485, GMP).
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and quality control tools, including Pareto analysis, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Experience with conducting quality audits, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
• Ability to interpret technical data, specifications, and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
• Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), or CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) from ASQ (American Society for Quality) is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with Quality Management Software (QMS).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
