Job summary

Innomotics in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Testing Engineer (F/M/D) to join our team. You will execute customer inspections, participate in prototype testing, and maintain test setups for electrical systems, motors, and instrumentation.

We value hands-on experience with drive systems, PLCs, calibration, and adherence to ISO 9001 QMS and EHS guidelines. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and EHS guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with testing and test documentation.
• Knowledge of PLC, drive systems and maintenance.
• Calibration of instruments knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer inspections and document test results.
• Support prototyping and investigative testing in new products.
• Maintain test setup equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Carry out testing and maintenance following safety procedures.
• Implement 5S and continuous improvement in own area.
• Contribute to quality procedures for new product development.
• Document results in systems and initiate corrective actions.
• Follow ISO 9001 QMS and quality processes.
• Possess basic calibration knowledge of instruments.
• Knowledge of drive, PLC, maintenance and troubleshooting is an added advantage.

Location- Navi Mumbai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1) Execute customer inspections independently which includes conducting test, doing test documentation, analyze results, resolve customer queries & conclude inspection through formal MOM
• 2) Participate in new product development process through prototype/investigative testing
• 3) Maintenance of various test setup equipment’s such electric panels, motor, generator, transformer, instrumentation. Doing the basis trouble shooting in case of any breakdowns/issue.
• 4) Execute the testing, maintenance activity following all safety procedures & strict adherence to EHS Guidelines.
• 5) Should be familiar with 5S & implement improvement measures in own area
• 6) Contribute to development and adoption of appropriate Quality procedures in case of new product development
• 7) Document results in the systems and initiates necessary corrective action with the support of respective department
• 8) Familiar with QMS : ISO 9001 & should be able to follow the quality system
• 9) He should have basis knowledge of calibration of instrument.
• 10) Knowledge about drive, PLC, maintenance & trouble shooting will be added advantage.
• 11) Person should have good communication skills as this position will be directly interacting with customer
• 12) Person should have good interpersonal skills & good team player
