Job summary

Greythr is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for MEP site works in Mumbai to develop and implement PQP and ITP, review method statements, and maintain QA/QC records.

You will coordinate with the main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors, conduct site inspections of electrical installations, manage NCRs and CAPA, and support audits and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC for construction (MEP) projects.
• Knowledge of ITP/PQP and NCR/CAPA processes.
• Ability to conduct toolbox talks and quality trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for MEP works.
• Review and verify method statements, work procedures, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and testing records.
• Coordinate and conduct site inspections for Electrical installations.
• Ensure all works are inspected and approved as per ITP and method statements before proceeding to the next stage.
• Act as a liaison between the main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors & QA Department for quality-related issues.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated system quality.
• Attend quality coordination meetings and provide updates on QA/QC issues.
• Identify and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from quality standards.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to close out NCRs.
• Maintain a log of NCRs and report trends to the QA/QC Manager.
• Ensure all Electrical activities comply with local codes, international standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare for and assist in internal and external audits.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and work instructions at the site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and quality awareness training for site teams.
• Recommend improvements in site procedures and quality control practices.
• Assist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and test reports for project handover.
• Ensure all quality records are complete and handed over to the client/consultant.
• Client and Team handling, Site inspections & Documentations.
