Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior Automotive Quality leader in the Gurgaon/Manesar area to drive quality across plastic injection moulding operations. The role requires extensive experience with IATF-16949, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure zero-defect parts.

The successful candidate will lead QA teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with suppliers while guiding continuous improvement initiatives and cost control in a global manufacturing context.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in automotive quality management, especially in plastic injection moulding.
Strong knowledge of IATF-16949 standards and related quality systems.
Experience leading audits, compliance activities and certifications.

Responsibilities

Liaise with third-party auditors to ensure recertification and surveillance audits (IATF/ISO).
Prepare and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection Standards, MISP, Control Plans, and OPS to ensure zero-defect parts.
Monitor COPQ and QA manpower cost; manage QA budget per targets.
Support APQP processes for new project development.
Provide training on quality standards, IATF, safety, inspection, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.

Job Description

Liaise with Third Party auditors (TUV) to ensure compliance during recertification Audits / Surveillance Audits of IATF / ISO specifications
Prepare & maintain Quality Plan, Inspection Standard / MISP, Control Plan, OPS of Product to ensure good quality part with Zero defect
Monitor and maintain COPQ & QA manpower cost as per target
Support in APQP process of New Project development
Training & education to Team members, QREs, Warehouse casual employee on quality standards, IATF, Safety, Inspection and customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, reducing defects, and enhancing overall product quality
