Job summary

APT HR is seeking an experienced Quality Manager EV Battery Pack Repair to oversee QA/QC for inspection, diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, testing, and validation of battery packs.

The role leads the quality team, sets standards, investigates failures, reduces defects, and ensures repaired packs meet safety and performance before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 58 years of experience in quality management, battery manufacturing, testing, or repair operations.
• At least 2-3 years in a quality leadership or managerial role; hands-on EV battery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement quality inspection procedures for EV battery pack repair and refurbishment.
• Verify quality of battery modules, cells, busbars, connectors, wiring harnesses, cooling systems, and enclosures.
• Ensure repaired packs undergo electrical, functional, insulation and performance tests before release.
• Maintain traceability of battery packs, modules, replaced components, and repair records.
• Validate battery voltage, internal resistance, insulation resistance, and other electrical parameters.
• Establish acceptance criteria for repair, refurbishment, and replacement components.
• Lead and supervise Quality Team Leaders, Executives, and Inspectors.
• Train team members in defect identification, inspection techniques, testing procedures, and documentation.
• Maintain inspection records, test reports, repair histories, and component traceability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports.
• Any other duties as assigned by the company.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing quality standards, leading the quality team, investigating battery failures, reducing repair defects, and ensuring that all repaired battery packs meet the required performance, reliability, and safety standards before release.

• Ensure appropriate validation of battery voltage, internal resistance, insulation resistance, and other specified electrical parameters.
• Establish acceptance criteria for battery pack repair, refurbishment, and replacement components.
• Lead and supervise Quality Team Leaders, Quality Executives, and Quality Inspectors.
• Train team members in battery defect identification, inspection techniques, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
• Maintain battery inspection records, test reports, repair histories, and component traceability records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality performance reports.
• Any other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 58 years of experience in quality management, battery manufacturing, battery testing, or battery repair operations.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a quality leadership or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience in lithium-ion EV battery pack inspection, repair, refurbishment, testing, and validation is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of high-voltage safety, insulation testing, and battery fault diagnosis.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, quality data analysis, and technical reporting.
