Job summary

Narasurip Auto Components in Bengaluru seeks a Sr. Manager/Manager - QA to direct all plant QA activities, driving new product development and maintenance quality. You will lead the QA team, review supplier quality, and ensure PPAP compliance.

The role requires statistical knowledge, inspection methods, and strong communication to coordinate cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering with 10–15 years industrial experience.
• Broad knowledge of statistics theory and statistical process control.
• Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Review product quality complaints and feedback.
• Overall control of the QA department.
• Identify training needs and evaluate training for QA personnel.
• Review in-house, supplier quality performance and customer complaints.
• Attend Management Review Meetings and review PPM with stakeholders.
• Drive PPAP approvals and maintain inspection standards for incoming, in-process and final inspection.
• Lead CAPA initiatives for in-house and supplier processes.
• Supervise incoming, in-process and final inspectors.
• Maintain ISO/TS documentation.

Job Summary & Key Objectives

Direct and manage all plant engineering with overall responsibilities for new product development & maintenance-related activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review of product quality related customer complaint and feedback.
• Overall control of QA department
• Identification of training needs and evaluation of training to personnel reporting to him.
• Review of In-house, supplier quality performance.
• Review customer complaints.
• Attend Management Review Meeting.
• Review in-house, supplier and customer PPM.
• Get PPAP approval from customer.
• Prepare inspection standard for incoming, in-process and final inspection.
• Overall responsibility for inspection activities at all stages of production.
• Prepare annual supplier audit plan
• Audit supplier as per annual plan Audit & new supplier.
• Calculate and monitor supplier, in-house and customer PPM.
• Monitor COPQ.
• Identify MME requirements for product inspection.
• Initiate CAPA against in-house, in-process and SCAP- customer end quality problems.
• Follow-up supplier CAPA.
• Analyze supplier rejection / rework
• Initiate any change/modification required for control plan / FMEA
• Supervise Engineer (Incoming, In-process & Final inspectors)
• Responsible for ISO/TS Documentation.

Preferred Qualification & Education

1. Bachelors degree / Diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering plus minimum 10-15 years industrial experience

2. Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.

3. Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
