Job summary

Rushabh Industries in India is seeking a seasoned Quality Head for Submersible & Surface Pump manufacturing. You will lead the QC department, oversee IQC/IPQC/OQC, and drive CAPA, audits, and QMS improvements.

The role requires strong manufacturing quality experience, knowledge of inspection methods, and hands-on use of precision measuring tools. You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure product quality and implement continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in manufacturing quality is mandatory.
• Experience in Submersible / Surface Pump manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances and inspection methods.
• Hands-on knowledge of Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Good knowledge of calibration, quality tools and manufacturing quality systems.
• Strong team handling, analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall QC Department and team across the plant.
• Handle Incoming Quality (IQC), In-Process Quality (IPQC) and Final/Outgoing Quality (OQC).
• Ensure quality of regular production and new product developments.
• Plan and monitor inspection activities across different stages of manufacturing.
• Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring instruments, gauges and testing equipment.
• Handle customer complaints and quality claims with timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC and PPAP activities.
• Conduct and support Product, Process and System Audits.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), SOPs, Work Instructions and quality records.
• Monitor quality KPIs including rejection %, rework %, PPM, customer complaints and audit scores.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Engineering and Suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, Lean and process improvements.
