Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Quality Engineer / QAQC Engineer for an Industrial Project/PEB in Maharashtra, India. You will implement and maintain the QA/QC system, prepare method statements, conduct audits, and coordinate with project and construction teams to ensure quality workmanship as per drawings and specs.

The role requires a BE Civil with 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in industrial settings, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication to drive corrective actions and NCR

Qualifications

• BE Civil with 8 to 10 years of QA/QC experience in Industrial/Industrial shed/PEB projects.
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate with Contractors quality engineer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement QA/QC policies and procedures.
• Carry out audits for ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and recommend corrective actions.
• Review contractor’s quality plans and provide recommendations.
• Ensure timely resolution for QA/QC issues with PM/Consultant/Department Head.
• Perform daily inspections and tests as per drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractor’s representative for NCR closures.
• Manage QA/QC documents including certificates, test results, NCRs, SI and other QA/QC records.
• Ensure quality and workmanship across civil, architectural and structural disciplines.

Job TitleQuality Engineer / QAQC Engineer, Industrial Project, PEBJob Description SummaryThis role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and proceduresCarry out audits for ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and recommend the necessary corrective actions and measuresMonitor policies and procedures and report any areas where improvement is requiredAssist the Project/Construction Managers in reviewing the contractor’s specific quality plans and produce recommendationsEnsure timely and effective resolution for QA or QC issues, in coordination with Construction Manager/Consultant/Department HeadPerform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensure activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.Coordinate with the contractor’s representative and Site Engineer in charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
