Job summary

Cadmaxx Solutions in Bangalore is seeking a Quality Engineer for its MFG unit 1. The role requires foundational skills in mechanical quality inspection, NCR handling and CAPA processes, with involvement across Production, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance to address quality issues.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of manufacturing experience, a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or related field, and proficiency with measurement tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineer role with 1–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with measuring instruments and quality inspection processes.
• Knowledge of NCR, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D and CAPA methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Maintain inspection, calibration, NCR, CAPA and quality records.
• Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaints.
• Support supplier quality and continuous improvement activities.
• Prepare quality reports using MS Excel.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant quality procedures.

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection as per drawings and specifications.
• Use Vernier caliper, micrometer, and height gauge for measurements.
• Handle NCR, rejection, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D and CAPA processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, suppliers and customers for quality issues.
• Maintain inspection, calibration, NCR, CAPA and quality records.
• Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaints.
• Support supplier quality and continuous improvement activities.
• Prepare quality reports using MS Excel.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant quality procedures.
