Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, production, supplier quality, or a similar technical role.
• Strong technical and analytical knowledge with the ability to understand product/components.
• Good understanding of quality inspection and measurement tools.
• Basic knowledge of RCA, 5 Why, CAPA, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of components and finished products.
• Understand product drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical requirements.
• Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.

• Evaluate samples and components from new suppliers based on technical and quality requirements.

About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with strong technical understanding and a hands-on approach. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection, identifying technical issues, supporting production, and coordinating with suppliers. The role will also provide exposure to vendor development and China sourcing, including technical evaluation of components and supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of components and finished products.
• Understand product drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical requirements.
• Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Purchase, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, rejection reports, and maintain quality documentation.
• Evaluate samples and components from new suppliers based on technical and quality requirements.
• Support China sourcing activities by understanding component specifications, comparing supplier samples, and coordinating technical queries.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding quality issues, specifications, samples, and corrective actions.
• Assist in supplier evaluation, sample approval, and new product development activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and quality issues.

Must-Have Skills

• 03 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Production, Supplier Quality, or a similar technical role.
• Strong technical and analytical knowledge with the ability to understand product/components.
• Good understanding of quality inspection and measurement tools.
• Basic knowledge of RCA, 5 Why, CAPA, and quality documentation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing and sourcing environment.
• Ability to learn and understand new products, components, and technical specifications quickly.

Good to Have

• Experience in electronics, electrical, consumer appliances, or engineering manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BOM, drawings, specifications, and component evaluation.
• Exposure to supplier quality or vendor development.
• Basic understanding of Chinese suppliers/China sourcing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 7 QC tools, 8D, or FMEA.
• Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or related field.
