Job summary

Poshs Metal Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector in Maharashtra to perform in-process and final inspection of CTL and Slitting material. You will verify thickness, width, length, squareness, flatness and surface defects, ensuring traceability of coils and grades.

You will operate Vernier, Micrometer and Thickness Gauge for precise measurements, maintain inspection records and coordinate with Production on corrective actions while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing in-process and final inspection.
• Knowledge of measurement instruments and QC methods.
• Ability to report non-conforming material and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• In-process and final inspection of CTL & Slitting material.
• Check thickness, width, length, squareness, flatness, burr & surface defects.
• Verify material grade, coil number and traceability.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thickness Gauge.
• Identify, segregate and report non-conforming material.
• Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
• Coordinate with Production for quality issues and corrective actions.
• Follow SOP, Control Plan, 5S and safety requirements.
