Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer / Quality Manager to join our Quality team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection, precision measuring instruments, engineering drawings, GD&T, quality documentation, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection of incoming, in-process & finished products
• Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug/Ring Gauges, Profile Projector & CMM
• Prepare Inspection Reports and FAI reports
• Handle NCRs, customer complaints, root-cause analysis & CAPA
• Support supplier quality activities and corrective actions
• Maintain QMS documentation and quality records
• Participate in internal, customer & certification audits
• Monitor calibration of inspection equipment
• Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional tolerances & surface finish
• Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug/Ring Gauges, Profile Projector & CMM
• Prepare Inspection Reports and FAI reports
• Handle NCRs, customer complaints, root-cause analysis & CAPA
• Conduct 8D/problem-solving activities
• Support supplier quality activities and corrective actions
• Maintain QMS documentation and quality records
• Support ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100 requirements
• Participate in internal, customer & certification audits
• Monitor calibration of inspection equipment
• Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Quality Control & Quality Assurance
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• Knowledge of AS9100 preferred
• Good understanding of GD&T & engineering drawings
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of FAI, NCR, CAPA, 8D & Root Cause Analysis
• Knowledge of MSA, SPC & basic statistical quality tools
• Good analytical, communication & documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in aerospace, precision machining, CNC manufacturing, fasteners, or other high-precision manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
