Job summary

Oetiker is seeking a Quality/Process Assurance professional to oversee line inspections, gauge verifications, and calibration coordination across NABL-lab supported processes. You will implement corrective actions for audits and customer complaints, generate key quality reports, and train staff on quality and environmental standards.

The role includes supporting audits, ensuring supplier material quality, and coordinating internal process audits to drive continual improvement in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).
• 3 years experience in automobile indutry.

Responsibilities

• Line inspection (First piece inspection approval, material clearance) & pre-dispatch inspection reports (dock audit).
• Internal gauge verification/calibration.
• Calibration of measurements from NABL accredited labs – coordination.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints, internal and external audits, customer audits.
• Prepare customer-specific reports (Pre_dispatch inspection, layout inspection, self assessment audits).
• Ensure health and safety standards on the shopfloor.
• Maintain quality system / environmental system as per International standards.
• Develop effective quality control processes based on customer needs.
• Periodically report management system performance with improvement suggestions.
• Plan and conduct employee training in quality and environmental matters.
• Coordinate internal process audits.
• Sales support for quality matters.
• Prepare quality reports and PPAPs.
• Ensure the quality of incoming raw and packaging materials.
• Perform process capability study, MSA study.
