Job summary

Studio N Plus U LLP in Delhi seeks a QA/QC Engineer with at least 3 years of direct QA/QC experience on active commercial, residential, or infrastructure sites. You will establish inspection plans, review drawings, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

You will supervise on-site inspections and tests, validate materials, manage non-conformances, and maintain meticulous quality records to support client handovers and coordination with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related construction field.
• 3+ years of direct QA/QC experience on active commercial, residential, or infrastructure construction sites.
• CQE or ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor highly preferred.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specs; familiarity with ASTM/ACI/British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish, review, and execute ITPs and Method Statements for project specs.
• Conduct on-site inspections and supervise field tests; approve milestones.
• Inspect incoming materials and verify certificates; ensure proper storage.
• Identify defects, issue NCRs, lead root-cause analyses, and oversee CAPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Compliance: Establish, review, and execute comprehensive Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements tailored to the project specifications.
• On-Site Inspections: Conduct routine checks of ongoing structural, architectural, or infrastructure works. Supervise critical field tests (e.g., concrete cube sampling, soil compaction, NDT testing) and approve milestones before proceeding.
• Material Validation: Inspect incoming raw materials against submittals, verifying manufacturer test certificates and ensuring proper storage to prevent degradation on site.
• Defect Management: Identify deviations early, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), lead root-cause analyses, and oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Documentation & Handover: Maintain meticulous quality records, inspection checklists, and test logs to build the final client project handover package.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary technical bridge for quality alignment between site superintendents, subcontractors, and external client consultants.
