Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Quality Engineer in Bengaluru with 1–3 years of experience and a Mechanical Engineering background. You will apply PPAP, PFMEA and control plans to improve product quality across machining, casting, sheet metal and assembly processes.

Role requires shopfloor excellence, supplier audit exposure, 8D problem solving and basic GD&T knowledge, with strong communication to drive corrective actions and process improvements within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in quality engineering or supplier quality.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent education.
• Strong knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC.
• IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 knowledge and automotive quality emphasis.
• Experience in machining, casting, sheet metal, assembly and related processes.
• Shopfloor process knowledge and hands-on problem solving.
• Supplier quality experience and conducting audits.
• Ability to lead 8D and corrective-action follow-up.
• Basic GD&T knowledge for part inspection and capability studies.
• Manufacturing process exposure with strong communication skills.
