Job summary

Chandigarh News invites experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen our auto components quality programs. You will develop quality control plans, lead CAPA efforts, and ensure ISO compliance across production lines.

The role requires 7–9 years in quality engineering, strong SPC knowledge, and hands-on DFMEA/PPAP experience to drive robust design and process improvements. You will collaborate with manufacturing, supplier QA, and design teams to resolve quality issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO, CAPA, DFMEA, PPAP workflows

Responsibilities

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues through CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action) methodology.
• Conduct DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) studies to identify potential failures in product design and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documents for new products or changes to existing ones.

Job Requirements :

• 7-9 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the auto components industry.
• Strong understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) principles and implementation methods.
• Experience with controlling processes using tools like ISO, Capa, Dfmea, PPAP.
