We are looking for an experienced IPQC Engineer (Mechanical) to handle in-process quality checks on the shop floor, ensure product as per specs, maintain quality reports, handle line rejections, and coordinate with production.
To carry out in-process quality checks on shop floor as per control plan / SOP / WI.
To monitor daily production activities and ensure product quality as per specifications.
To inspect raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods as per quality standards
To handle line rejection and analyze root cause for defects.
To prepare and maintain IPQC reports, daily quality reports, and inspection records.
To ensure calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
To coordinate with production and maintenance team for quality improvements.
To implement 5S, Kaizen, and quality tools (7QC, SPC, MSA)
To ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other quality system requirements
Strong knowledge of Mechanical measurements & instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge etc.)
Knowledge of Engineering Drawings & GD&T
Knowledge of Quality Tools - 7QC, 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA
Experience in Manufacturing / Machine Shop / Assembly Line
Good documentation and reporting skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in stock management or manufacturing accounts.
Familiarity with other accounting or ERP tools.
Experience in vendor management and costing
