Job summary

Shubham Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced QC leader to oversee quality assurance across heavy machinery manufacturing, with a focus on blown film or plastic processing equipment.

The role requires hands-on inspection, process control, instrument calibration, vendor management, and team leadership to deliver zero-defect production in a highly regulated ISO environment.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Plastic Engineering required.
• 10 to 20 years of QC experience in heavy machinery manufacturing, preferably in Blown Film or Plastic Processing Machinery.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO standards and core quality tools.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving abilities, and strict attention to technical details.

Responsibilities

• Inward Inspection: Verify the quality of all incoming components against specifications.
• In-Process Quality Control: Monitor every stage of machine fabrication and assembly for conformance to drawings.
• Instrument Calibration: Ensure all measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges) are calibrated regularly.
• Vendor Quality Management: Audit suppliers and components, providing timely feedback and corrective actions for rejected materials.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed quality reports, checklists, test certificates, and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate manufacturing defects or customer complaints to identify core issues and preventive actions.
• Team Leadership: Manage and train a team of QC inspectors, promoting a culture of precision and zero defects on the shop floor.
