Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking an Associate - Quality Control (Internal Quality) to join our fast-paced aerospace manufacturing team. You will independently perform inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure components meet stringent customer requirements and aerospace standards.

You will verify drawings, specifications, tolerances, and traceability of raw materials, serial numbers, and batch records while supporting 3rd party inspections and maintaining CoCs and quality records.

Qualifications

• Inspect aerospace components and assemblies to meet customer requirements.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specs and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection records: CoC, FAI and calibration documents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aerospace components meet customer requirements through inspections and documentation.
• Inspect machining, sheet metal forming, aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and systems during incoming, in-process, and final stages.
• Verify critical processes and special process approvals.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Ensure traceability of raw materials, serial numbers, and batch records.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, CoC, FAI, and calibration records.
• Support 3rd party supplier inspection machining parts and bending parts.

Associate - Quality Control (Internal Quality)

About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate - Quality Control (Internal Quality), who thrives in a high performance and fast paced technical environment As an Associate within the Quality Control (Internal Quality) team, you will be responsible for independently performing most function tasks, ensuring that our customer receives a great product.

What you'll deliver:

• To ensure aerospace components, assemblies, and systems meet customer requirements through strict Compline to aerospace standards, inspections, testing, and documentation.
  
• Inspect machining, sheet metal forming, aerospace components, sub-assemblies, and systems during incoming, in process, and final stages
  
• Verify critical processes and special process approvals
  
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
  
• Ensure conformity to aerospace standards such as AS9100, ASME requirements
  
• Ensure traceability of raw materials, serial numbers, and batch records
  
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, FAI reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), quality records, Pressure test record, Calibration record
  
• Support 3rd party supplier inspection machining parts and bending parts
  
• Strong knowledge of drawings, GD&T, and tolerance stack up
  
• Strong Experience with measuring instrument (Vernier, Height gauges, Digital and simple Micrometre, Bore gauge, Roughness tester)
  

What you'll need:

• 2+ years of total working experience in related domain
  
• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  
• Flexible to Supplier site inspection and technical support
  
• Flexible to Shift work
  
• Flexibility to go beyond normal work hours in time of need and support other functions
