Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Incoming material inspection against project specs and vendor docs.

• Manage punch-lists and coordinate with execution teams to close defects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control (QC) Engineer. The selected candidate will be stationed across project sites in the Nagpur and Vidarbha regions, ensuring that all solar PV installations, structural mountings, and electrical systems comply with technical drawings, client standards, and mandatory regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Incoming Material Inspection: Inspect and verify all incoming raw materials, solar modules, cables, and structural components against approved project specifications and vendor documents.
• Module & MMS Installation Checks: Conduct regular site audits to verify Solar PV Module and Module Mounting Structure (MMS) alignment and installation according to approved engineering drawings.
• Hands-on Electrical Testing: Perform critical electrical testing, including insulation resistance (megger tests), system continuity, earth resistance measurements, and cable termination checks.
• CEIG Readiness & Documentation: Maintain accurate site quality documentation, checklists, and compliance reports to ensure project readiness for Chief Electrical Inspector to Government (CEIG) inspections.
• Punch-List & Defect Management: Track, manage, and close site punch-lists in coordination with execution teams prior to final commissioning and handover.
• Quality Assurance: Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and site safety/quality checklists to maintain high execution quality across all project phases.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on quality control experience, with strong preference given to candidates with background in Solar EPC or Renewable Energy.
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of solar site testing equipment, electrical safety norms, drawing reading, and site quality documentation.
