Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
• 7–8 years of experience in Solar or Renewable industry focusing on Quality.
• Proficiency in MS Office package.
• Strong analytical capabilities for quality data.
• Experience with inspection and auditing processes.
• Familiar with IS/IEC Indian and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Own quality documents for the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site observations.
• Review material quality at site, ensure compliance with project specs and quality, assist procurement and quality materials teams.
• Supervise test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to procedures and coordinate quality audits across teams.
• Assist employees to ensure knowledge of quality standards, ensure compliance with manuals and procedures, collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain system quality.
• Report to QA/QC Manager and monitor all quality activities daily.
• Arrange Factory Acceptance Test and QA audits as required.
• Manage all Third-Party Agencies related to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Quality documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
• Report to the QA/QC Manager, control and monitor all activities related to Quality.
• Responsible for Daily Quality Activities.
• Responsible to arrange Factory Acceptance Test & QA Audit.
• Responsible to Manage all the Third-Party Agencies related to Quality.
• Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
• Verify that the quality related site activities are following the applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in the site internal and external site audits.
• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site Quality inspectors.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma / Degree in Electrical.
• Experience: 7–8 years (min) in Solar or Renewable industry in Quality.
• Expertise in MS Office package.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Familiar with Indian and international standards (IS/IEC).
