Job summary

Kopell Grounding Systems in India seeks an experienced, analytical quality leader to head quality control in a mass-production environment, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and a culture of quality across the plant. Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in a mass-production manufacturing environment.
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production or related engineering.
• Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in quality data analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Seven QC Tools and Six Sigma.
• Experience with non-ferrous metals, electrical components, inspection instruments and testing procedures is an advantage.
• Strong documentation, communication, coordination and team management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of timely decisions with urgency.

• Inspect, test and sample incoming raw materials, in-process production and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyse quality data using statistical methods, identify trends and investigate defects, rejections and process deviations.
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation, inspection records, quality reports, procedures and audit-related documents.
• Identify non-conforming materials and products, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and follow up on their effective implementation.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Establish quality objectives, monitor departmental performance and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Promote quality awareness, standardization and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the plant.
